This is the "light and quick" version of our Standard Pre-Purchase Survey.

We're experts at evaluating aluminum and steel hulls, wood-epoxy boats, and other unusual construction methods.  This specialized survey and report provides an in-depth look at a vessel's hull including:

• Osmosis readings

• Moisture readings

• UTM (ultrasonic thickness)

We recommend dry-docking for two weeks prior to the survey.

We will identify all repairs required to prepare the vessel for your intended use (from a trans-Atlantic crossing or occaisional cruising).  Everything is provided in detail: we include exact dimensions of each spare part, repair cost and expected duration. You get:

 

• A 1-page summary highlighting major costs and overall project timeline

• Customized, editable Excel document to support  budgeting (and negotiations)
